To keep my visual design skills sharp during the summer of 2023, I entered the Samsung Flex Your Design Contest where I was challenged to create a case design for Samsung Galaxy Flip4.
During this time, I was moving away from my parents' place to a new area. This significant change brought feelings of homesickness and loneliness, but, most importantly, it made me realize that time with family and friends is something I cherish the most. My goal for this challenge was:
I used procreate to sketch my design. I made several iterations to explore colours and compositions.
The final design is an expression of the happiness I felt while connecting with my friends and family over the summer. It is a celebration of the precious time I shared with my old friends and family. The forms coexist harmoniously, each decorating the space with its unique shapes and beautifully influencing one another through overlapping, creating new colors.
